Although, we are promoting to cut down on the use of foam because of the suppression power with micro-droplets because more surface area provides more heat absorption. This is the major difference between micro-droplets and today’s conventional water delivery nozzles with less surface area. More water is wasted and doing nothing to suppress the fire. Therefore, water damage and waste is still a problem with today’s systems.
